What is a Certified Financial Planner?

The Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) Professional Education Program has defined the financial planning profession since 1972 and is the foundation for many other programs.

The program is widely recognized as a standard for those seeking to obtain the knowledge and skills required to evaluate their clients’ present financial status objectively, pinpoint areas of concern, and suggest appropriate courses of action. The program equips practitioners to become highly qualified and comprehensive financial planners who prioritize their clients’ interests.

Through a study of the financial planning process, advisors learn to respond to each client’s unique financial concerns, addressing them with the most effective financial techniques and solutions. Students also learn to recognize a client’s need for the exceptional skills of other professionals — such as accountants and attorneys — and to coordinate a team of consultants working toward a client’s financial goals and objectives.

Outstanding service from Salena, Jackie, and the rest of the team at Wilfred Leong Insurance. They take the time to review your existing insurance policies and make helpful, money-saving suggestions, while at the same time ensuring that your insurance adequately protects your assets.

Brad Allen

Sold my vehicle and required the appropriate paperwork done as well as insure the buyer on his purchase. Service was immediate, responsive and friendly. This especially makes a difference when one sheds a tear in his eye whilst selling a family car that’s been with you for a long time. Would recommend this business for all ICBC services.
